Complete genome sequences of five Variovorax strains isolated from the Populus rhizosphere and endosphere

This project provides complete genome sequences of five Variovorax strains isolated from Populus rhizosphere and endosphere-associated environments. Strains were obtained through a combination of environmental sampling and greenhouse experiments using soils originally collected from Populus root-associated compartments. These genome sequences support studies of microbial adaptation, niche specialization, and the functional roles of Variovorax within plant-associated microbiomes.
