The oxidative stress response to chlorine was analysed by the global gene expression profile for Salmonella Typhimurium 0 min_OC: The genomic response of cells in log phase (fresh culture) and stataionary phase (overnight culture) of growth of S. Typhimurium after exposing the cells to chlorine at a concentration of 10 ppm for 0.5 min were compared with cells that were not treated with chlorine.
