资源简介:
The 2008 Albany Pine Restoration Project (HAA 4095-31) is located in the Albany Pine
Bush Preserve in Albany County, New York. A rough stone tool was recovered from a test pit
at the site and was examined for pollen, starches, phytoliths, and organic residues, the latter
using the FTIR. Pollen, starch, and phytolith analysis will be used to provide subsistence
information concerning plant resources utilized by the occupants of this site. FTIR analysis will
be used to provide information concerning foods that were processed using this stone tool.
