# Database for Integrating Spectral Induced Polarization Responses with Reactive Transport Modeling ## OverviewThis database contains experimental and simulation data related to nitrate (NO3-) remediation experiments conducted in two sets of sand columns (case 1 and case 2) using ZVI-AC systems. The dataset includes hydrogeochemical data, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) data, Spectral Induced Polarization (SIP) data, and reactive transport simulation results. ##File Descriptions### 1. Hydrogeochemical Data (1 hydrogeochemical_data.txt)---This file contains hydrogeochemical data from two sampling points in the sand columns for both case 1 and case 2. Data were collected over a period of 0-1160 hours. Each dataset is organized into 8 columns:---First column: Sampling time (days)---Columns 2-8: Concentrations of nitrate-nitrogen or ammonium-nitrogen at sampling points (S1-S7) ### 2. EDS Data (2 eds_scan.txt)---This file contains EDS line scan results of solid samples collected from the columns after the experiments for both case 1 and case 2. Each dataset is organized into 6 columns:---Scan distance---Scan intensities (cps) for five different elements ### 3. Spectral Induced Polarization (SIP) Data for Case 1 (3 sip_data for case1.txt)---This file contains SIP data from five measurement channels (C1-C5) in the column for case 1, collected over a period of 0-1160 hours. The dataset is organized such that:---First column: Measurement frequency (0.01-1311 Hz)---Subsequent columns: Real conductivity data or Imaginary conductivity data at different monitoring times ### 4. Spectral Induced Polarization (SIP) Data for Case 2 (4 sip_data for case2.txt)---This file contains SIP data from five measurement channels (C1-C5) in the column for case 2, collected over a period of 0-1160 hours. The dataset is organized such that:---First column: Measurement frequency (0.01-1311 Hz)---Subsequent columns: Real conductivity data or Imaginary conductivity data at different monitoring times ### 5. Simulated Concentration Data for Cases 1 and 2 (Simulated concentrations_.txt)---This file contains simulated nitrate-nitrogen concentration data for case 1 and case 2 under the calibration strategy. Each dataset is organized into 8 columns:---First column: Sampling time (days)---Columns 2-8: Simulated nitrate-nitrogen concentrations at sampling points (S1-S7) ### Usage---To analyze the data, you can import the files into data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or Excel.---Perform statistical analysis or model fitting on the spectral data. SIP spectral data can be fitted using the Debye decomposition model.
