The Effects of Pesticide-Induced Nutritional Disturbances on Gut Microbiota of Honey Bees (PRJCA041095)

This project investigates how exposure to common pesticides, particularly atrazine, indirectly disrupts the gut microbiota of honey bees by impairing nutrient intake, especially pollen consumption. Using a controlled feeding design, we aim to clarify the physiological and microbial consequences of sublethal chemical exposure, contributing to the understanding of host microbiota environment interactions in agricultural ecosystems.
