This OSF repository contains the data and analysis code for a longitudinal study examining reciprocal within-person associations between reading competence, intrinsic reading motivation, and reading self-concept in Austrian primary school students (Grades 2–4). The dataset includes three annual measurement waves (N = 922 at baseline; FIML N = 919) with standardized reading assessments and self-report measures.
Reading competence was modeled as a latent construct; intrinsic motivation and self-concept were operationalized as composite scores. Analyses were conducted using a random-intercept cross-lagged panel model (RI-CLPM) in R (lavaan).
All data are fully anonymized and contain no direct or indirect identifiers.
