Results of Scheirer-Ray-Hare’s tests (H values) for the C:N ratio of symbionts (n = 23) and released POC/PON (n = 3), and of factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA, F values) for the C:N ratio of coral host (n = 23) and for natural percentage of 13C (measured in non-enriched control samples, n = 3), with two factors (irradiance, and feeding mode). C:N values of coral host were ln-transformed prior to analysis. Significant p-values are in bold.
