Bacterial diversity of bacteriomes and reproductive organs associated with two cicada species (Hemiptera: Cicadidae). insect metagenome

In the present work, we aim to confirm the composition and diversity of bacterial communities in bacteriomes and reproductive organs from Platypleura kaempferi (Fabricius) and Meimuna mongolica (Distant), and we discuss the influence of cicada species, sex and tissues on the bacterial community composition and diversity.
