We investigated the gastric flora in normal and diseased states by metatranscriptomic analysis of 15 cancer/non-cancer gastric tissues. Paired-end reads were mapped to our original database including genomes from 10660 species of plant, fungi, invertebrate, bacteria, virus and phages categories and each species was quantitatively assessed.
