This dataset is the temporal data of leaf area index (LAI) of tree, shrub, and grass layers in the Changbai Mountain broad-leaved Korean pine forest comprehensive observation field (geographical range: 42 ° 24 ′ 10 ″ -42 ° 24 ′ 12 ″ N, 128 ° 05 ′ 41 ″ -128 ° 05 ′ 46 ″ E) of the Changbai Mountain Forest Ecosystem National Field Scientific Observation and Research Station from 2005 to 2015. The research object is the apical community of the original broad-leaved Korean pine forest. The observation of Leaf Area Index (LAI) is strictly carried out in accordance with the "Guidelines and Standards for Biological Observation of Terrestrial Ecosystems". The canopy analyzer method (model: LI-COR LAI-2000) is used to locate and observe 10 fixed plots selected in the observation field, with a frequency of once a month. After pre-processing with the canopy analyzer software, the raw data was further organized and standardized using Excel. The data quality control strictly follows the regulatory requirements, first using threshold inspection method, combined with years of historical data comparison, to verify and remove or label outliers for data that exceeds the threshold; The evaluation method is achieved by drawing annual/seasonal dynamic charts and comparing data from the same period. The dataset is in *. xlsx format, with a total data size of 21.59KB, including 1 data worksheet and a total of 210 data items. Basic information table: The column header includes 12 indicators: ecological station code, year, month, day, hour, plot code, plot name, plot category, Class II plot number, tree layer leaf area index (m2/m2), shrub layer leaf area index (m2/m2), and vegetation layer leaf area index (m2/m2). Among them, the leaf area indices of Qiao, Guan, and Cao layers are numerical data, with 2 decimal places uniformly retained; Date and Level II sample numbers are integer data (without decimal places), while the rest are character data.
