VPRS 15031 Salaries Registers

This series consists of the salaries registers of the Department of Crown Lands and Survey (VA 538). Each register may cover more than one year and each lists all employees of the Department in the yearly list. This includes not only permanent public servants, but also temporary and casual employees.Each year has a number of lists. The first lists all employees according to their position (eg Clerk, Draughtsman) and later their public service classification. The other major list gave employees according to their position for each of the regional and/or district offices. Both lists gave where applicable, the date of first appointment and annual salary and details of each payment of salary for the whole year.
