HLA typing of a family (patient and his mother) for donor selection to haploidential transplantation of hematopoetic stem cells(HSC) 1432-1, 1432-3. HLA typing 1432-1, 1432-3

Routine procedure of HLA typing of class 1 and class 2 was performed for patient (1432-1)and his mother (1432-3). Mother was a potential donor of HST. Patient and mother had an ambiguous result in A locus in high resolution. The common allele of patient and mother would be A*03:01:01:01 if in position 6 is C, but we have S (CG). We suggest a synonymous substitution in exon 1 and a novel allele of A*03:01 as a result.
