Target RA (J2000): 50.131763 and deg Target Dec (J2000): 42.60708 and deg Gaia GMag: 10.819 Programme ID: CH_PR440018 PI of observing programme: Dattilo Title of programme: Confirmation of four planet candidates around an extremely young star Abstract: We request 64 orbits of CHEOPS observations to confirm and characterize the planetary system orbiting the star TOI-6109 a young approximately 80Myr-old Sun-like star in the Alpha Persei cluster. It hosts at least 4 transiting planet candidates all about the size of Neptune orbiting within 16 day orbital periods. The planets orbit near mean motion resonances so transit timing variations should reveal their masses. The system's youth and near-resonant configuration present a unique opportunity to test theoretical models of atmospheric mass loss. [truncated! Please see actual data for full text]
