Scores of family function, illness perception and kinesiophobia in patients after hip replacement

This dataset contains survey data from a cross-sectional study investigating the association between family function and kinesiophobia in 200 patients after hip replacement surgery, and examining whether illness perception mediates this relationship. Data were collected from patients at three tertiary hospitals in Guizhou Province, China, between November 2024 and June 2025. Variables include: - Demographic characteristics: gender, age, BMI, place of residence, marital status, education attainment, current employment, monthly household income - Clinical variables: preoperative diagnosis, comorbid chronic diseases, replacement modality, preoperative/postoperative NRS scores, years of preoperative pain - Family APGAR Index (items A1-A5) - Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire, BIPQ (items B1-B8) - Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia, TSK-17 (items C1-C17) - Computed total scores and standardized scores for family function, illness perception, and kinesiophobia
