Urine metabolites were measured using 1H-MRS. Values were normalized based on the total 1H-MRS spectrum integral to compensate for differences in urine concentration. Thus, all values are permille of the total integral and are reported as means ± standard deviations (n = 4). Data among groups was compared using analysis of variance in combination with Tukey's post-hoc test. Significance levels: * = p<0.05; ** = p<0.01; *** = p<0.001 (all in comparison to vehicle controls).
