The Department of Energy (DOE) Joint Genome Institute sequenced the Trichoderma reesei strain QM6a genome using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. The draft assembly currently consists of 170 scaffolds. The Trichoderma reesei genome is being finished at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
