EPC 2841 forms part of the ‘Corvus Deposit’, along with EPC 980, EPC 1226 and EPC 1267 currently held by New Emerald Energy Pty Ltd. EPC 2841 is strategically located to provide access to existing mine infrastructure for load out of the Corvus Coal product. Currently EPC 980, EPC 1226 and EPC 1267 are in the process of being transferred. No on-site drilling or exploration activities were undertaken in EPC 2841 during the reporting period. A geological model was generated with more up-to-date geological data and a re-assessment of the coal geology of EPC 2841 was completed. Based on this assessment, a drilling program has been designed to determine the location of the two target coal seams, Corvus and German Creek Seams within EPC 2841 and to analyze the bore core samples to confirm the coking properties of both seams.
