This project contains a dataset of 1950+ automated VPN performance measurements collected from Tokyo, Japan period in December 2025. PROJECT OVERVIEW This open science project aims to provide transparent, unbiased VPN performance data through automated testing. Unlike commercial VPN review sites, this project operates with zero revenue and complete transparency. DATA COLLECTION PERIOD - Start: Early December 2025 - Total measurements: 1950+ records KEY FEATURES - 15 VPN providers tested - Measurements every 6 hours (4 times per day) - Time-series data with statistical analysis - Coefficient of Variation (CV) for stability assessment - Automated testing using Google Apps Script - $0/month operating cost (Google free tier) - 99.8% system uptime DATA FORMAT CSV file containing: - Timestamp - VPN Service - Download (Mbps) - Upload (Mbps) - Ping (ms) - Instant Stability - Reliability (%) - Overall Score - Rank METHODOLOGY All measurements are performed automatically using Google Apps Script deployed on Google's free infrastructure. Testing occurs every 6 hours from Tokyo, Japan. Statistical analysis includes Coefficient of Variation calculation for stability assessment.
