资源简介:
Cardiac Ã3-adrenergic receptors (Ã3AR) are upregulated in diseased hearts and mediate antithetic effects to those of Ã1AR and Ã2AR. Ã3AR agonists were recently shown to protect from myocardial remodeling in preclinical studies and to improve systolic function in patients with severe heart failure. The mechanisms involved, however, remain elusive. Here we used a transgenic mouse model with moderate, cardiac-specific expression of the human Ã3AR (Ã3AR-Tg) (with levels similiar to those observed in human cardiac bisopsies) to dissect downstream effects after transaortic constriction (TAC) Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling between adult ventricular myocytes (AVM) of B3AR-Tg and WT littermates 9 weeks post TAC surgery
