A mature female and a mature male T. vachellii fish were selected from a farm for isolated breeding. One year later, 31 offspring were produced. Each offspring was dissected, and the sex of the individuals was determined by observing the gonads, resulting in the identification of 18 female offspring and 13 male offspring.
