This study presents presents whole genome sequences of 31 M. bovis VNTR-type 10 isolates from cattle and badgers in Northern Ireland generated using Illumina sequencing.Sequenced isolates originated from a cluster of five neighbouring cattle farms with a history of VNTR-10 outbreaks over more than a decade as well as from four road-killed badgers found in the same area and infected with the same VNTR type.
