Distinct Hippocampal Expression Profiles of Long Non-coding RNAs in an Alzheimer’s Disease Model

In the present study, we applied microarray technology to analyse the expression profiles of lncRNAs and messenger RNAs (mRNAs) in the hippocampus of rats in a validated AD model. Additionally, gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses were performed to predict the biological roles and potential signalling pathways of these differentially expressed lncRNAs.
