The normality test was conducted to determine whether the data in each group (pretest and posttest, both control and experimental) were normally distributed or not. Based on the results of the Kolmogorov–Smirnov and Shapiro–Wilk tests, all pretest and posttest data in both the control and experimental classes were not normally distributed (Sig. < 0.05)
