资源简介:
It is well known that gut microbiota are involved in epithelial cell proliferation in the mammal gut. However, their effects on intestinal stem cells function in the small intestine remains unclear. Employing pigs with different genetic markups, we identified significant jejunal microbiome differences. Meishan breed has higher abundance of Lactobacillus species and lactate producing enzyme encoding genes, with more proliferating crypt cells and higher Wnt beta catenin signaling in the jejunum.
