Transcriptome sequencing of Tremella fuciformis and its companion fungus, Annulohypoxylon stygium

Tremella fuciformis, a white jelly mushroom, interacts with its companion fungus, Annulohypoxylon stygium to complete life cycle in nature. The molecular mechanism of interaction had not been clarified clearly. To figure out candidate genes related to the interaction, individual T. fuciformis mycelia, concomitant mycelia, and individual A. stygium mycelia were collected for transcriptome analysis. It will lay the foundation for revealing the function of more interaction-related genes and demonstrating the molecular mechanism of interaction between T. fuciformis and A. stygium.
