Mean percentage of species suitable climate space that is covered by the existing protected areas for the three taxonomic groups for both time periods studied. The value of proportion is calculated dividing the number of cells of the projected species suitable climate space inside the existing PA’s by the total number of cells of the projected species suitable climate space.
