Replication package: Cultivated pasture at the dryland frontier - present and projected aridity exposure of Brazil's mapped pasture footprint

Replication package for the manuscript "Cultivated pasture at the dryland frontier: present and projected aridity exposure of Brazil's mapped pasture footprint" (Pereira, V.V.; Tavares, C.Q.; Ferreira, A.P.R.; Souza, S.O.; Dias, M.E.S.), submitted to Dryland Science (MDPI), manuscript ID drylandsci-4622059. The study overlays the MapBiomas Collection 11 pasture class (2025) on the aridity index (P/PET, UNEP classes) computed from BR-DWGD v3.2.4 (1991-2025) and on delta-change projections from 25 CMIP6 models (SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5; 2036-2065 and 2061-2090). Every number, table and figure of the manuscript and Supplementary Material is produced by the scripts in this package. Files: README.md (contents, environment, inputs with version, URL and access date, run order and processing details); MANIFEST_sha256.csv (path, size and SHA-256 of the 122 files in the package); 1_code_results_figures.zip (analysis scripts, configuration, locked Python environment, CSV/JSON results and figures); 2_derived_masks_regions_wind.zip, 3_derived_projections.zip, 4_derived_historical_main.zip and 5_derived_historical_windows.zip (derived NetCDF files on the BR-DWGD 0.1 degree grid). Unzip all archives into one folder to recover the paths listed in the manifest. Raw third-party inputs (BR-DWGD, MapBiomas, CMIP6, IBGE) are not redistributed; they are listed in README.md with version, URL and access date. Version 1.0.1 changes only formatting code (manuscript assembled in the journal Word template, RGB figures, Table 1 minus signs, Figure 6 label position); derived data and all reported numbers are identical to version 1.0.0. The author order was updated after deposit; the README inside the files still lists the previous order and will be corrected in the next version.
