Time-series RNA-seq during bulblet initiation in Lilium

A hybrid strategy combining Pacific Biosciences (PacBio) full-length sequencing and Illumina sequencing was conducted to explore the bulblet initiation process of Lilium brownii (Lb) and Lilium brownii var. giganteum (Lbg), a variant of Lb. Moreover, a comparison of two groups, the phytohormone-free medium and the medium supplemented with 1 mg/L 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), was made to explore whether 2,4-D functions in bulblet initiation.
