Dataset: Ethnobotanical Survey of Medicinal Plants Utilized by the People of Bhola District, Bangladesh.

The dataset documents traditional medicinal plant knowledge from Bhola District, Bangladesh, based on ethnobotanical surveys conducted with 100 informants between June and December 2025. It includes 39 medicinal plant species representing diverse families and growth forms, with detailed information on scientific and local names, plant parts used, preparation methods, therapeutic applications, and quantitative indices such as Relative Frequency of Citation (RFC). Voucher specimens were taxonomically verified and deposited in the Agricultural Herbarium of Daffodil International University. The dataset also contains anonymized demographic profiles of informants and ailment category consensus measures, providing a robust foundation for understanding local healthcare practices and supporting conservation and pharmacological research.
