# SHCMS:G.07838 **Favosites sp.** Lovely example of the Silurian coral Favosites. This colony also has a number of other fossil remains on its surface including other corals and brachiopods. This specimen comes from Dudley, but is of the same age as material found on Wenlock Edge. Age: approx 425 million years. Length 10.4cm Width 9.4cm Depth 3.9cm. Imaged using a canon 5DS R and Stackshot 3x with turntable to provide 114 images which were then processed using agisoft photoscan at high levels.
