This dataset is China's first long-time-series, high-spatiotemporal-resolution gap-free aerosol optical depth (AOD) data product. It has a daily temporal resolution, covering the period from 2000 to 2020. Its spatial resolution is 1 km, with a spatial coverage of 71°E to 139°E in longitude and 15°N to 56°N in latitude. The validation accuracy of this product exceeds 0.90. It can provide critical data support for studies on revealing the long-term variation patterns and spatial differentiation characteristics of atmospheric haze pollution in China, estimating health risks of air pollution, and analyzing aerosol radiative effects.
