We have sequenced two new genomes of Trypanosoma cruzi by Next Generation Sequencing technologies, the aim of this project was to improve genomic and genetic information about this complex kinetoplastid, the causative of Chagas disease.These genomes were assembled by the "Centro de Biologia Molecular Severo Ochoa". A manuscript describing these data is currently being prepared. We therefore request that you consult with the authors before undertaking large scale analyses of the annotation or underlying sequence.
