This data package primarily contains invention patent and utility model patent data related to elagolix products sourced from the global patent database. We evaluate, score and classify the patent data using a self-developed algorithm to determine patent value. By comparing the multi-dimensional data in the package, it helps enterprises understand the patent filing status of elagolix products, avoid redundant R&D and intellectual property infringement; it also assists decision-makers in making reasonable judgments on patents intended for capital contribution, transfer, licensing, or financing.
1. Data Collection: Invention patents and utility model patents for elagolix products are collected via third-party intellectual property retrieval websites.
2. Data Processing: The collected raw data is processed by removing duplicate records and data with missing values, followed by data cleaning and classification.
3. Data Calculation: Based on the entropy weight method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP), combining quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, starting from the perspective of patent value. The target layer is patent value, and the indicator layer is divided into three first-level indicators: legal value, technical value and economic value. The first-level indicators are further subdivided into second-level indicators as follows:
Legal value indicators: patent authorization cycle, patent maintenance duration, number of simple patent family applications, number of cited patents, number of non-patent cited references, simple legal status, number of litigation cases;
Technical value indicators: number of claims, number of inventors, number of patent citations received, number of IPC classifications, patent type, award type;
Economic value indicators: remaining patent term, number of current applicants, number of licensing transactions, number of pledge transactions, strategic emerging industry classification;
Three-dimensional matrices and patent evaluation criteria are established based on the first-level and second-level indicators. The weights calculated by the entropy weight method are used for the computation of each value dimension. The three single-dimensional values are equally weighted, and the sum of the three types of values constitutes the final patent value score. The IF function is employed to determine patent value tiers: patents with a score greater than 10 are classified as high-value patents, those with a score of 6-10 are important patents, and those with a score below 6 are general patents. This dataset provides technical references and guidance for R&D personnel in the relevant field, and offers decision-making support for corporate R&D strategies.
