NHGRI CLL WES Relapse Study

Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) is a hematological malignancy characterized by accumulation of CD5+CD19+ B cells in peripheral lymphoid organs, bone marrow and blood. Although it responds well to treatment, almost all the patients relapse eventually, yet our knowledge of resistance mechanisms is very limited. In this study we will analyze whole exome sequencing and SNP array data from high risk multiply relapsed patients to uncover sub-type specific drivers and novel actionable mutations. Source of tumor and normal DNA used is patient PBMC or B cells and saliva respectively.
