Geophysical data of east Arabian Sea have been acquired from National Geo-
physical Data Centre (NGDC), Colorado, U.S.A. The seismic data is in analog
form while bathymetry, magnetics and gravity data are in digital form.
Internationally, accepted Marine Geophysical Data (MGD-77) format is
adopted.Data consist of navigation, bathymetry, magnetics, gravity and
seismics. There are 1,17,096 records from 43 cruises:
Bathymetric data 54000 line k.m.
Magnetic data 47200 line k.m.
Seismic data 32000 line k.m.
Gravity data 8000 line k.m.
Side scan sonar 16220 line k.m.
