Transcriptome analysis of cortical tissue from transgenic mice with neuron-specific SEC61A1 overexpression

The Sec61 complex plays a critical role in protein translocation across the endoplasmic reticulum membrane and is essential for cellular homeostasis. To investigate the effects of neuron-specific SEC61A1 overexpression, we generated transgenic mice with targeted SEC61A1 expression in neurons and performed bulk RNA sequencing of cortical tissue. This study aims to elucidate how SEC61A1 overexpression affects gene expression patterns in the mouse brain, with a particular focus on the potential impact on the dsRNA signaling pathway.
