RNA sequencing of Pacific oyster gills

Gills were dissected from a batch of oysters maintained under controlled conditions. These samples, prepared for RNA-seq, represent naive control oysters without prior experimental treatment or pathogen exposure. Total RNA was extracted using TRIzol, and libraries were prepared following the DNBSEQ Eukaryotic strand-specific mRNA library protocol. Sequencing was performed with paired-end 100 bp reads on a DNBSEQ platform.
