This localised study of the recruitment of marine invertebrates on terracotta tiles around Masig (Yorke), Kodall and Marsden Islands commenced in March 2006 and ended in June 2009.
The experimental design incorporated two different depths (Shallow = 6 m, Deeper = 12 m) at 3 locations around each of Masig (the Kodall site was included in the Masig data) and Marsden Islands.
Season (June = winter, December = summer), numbers of species (bryazoans, sponges, ascidians, algae, coral, worms, bivalves) as well as percent cover of each group. Identification is to species level, where known.
Photographs were taken of each tile.
