资源简介:
The adoption of electric cars in Thailand is expected to increase due to rising fuel prices and growing environmental concerns. As the number of electric vehicles (EVs) rises, so will the demand for electricity. To reduce the impact on the power grid, the government has introduced measures such as the Time of Use Tariff (TOU) to encourage users to avoid charging during peak hours. However, some users may still need to charge during these periods due to unavoidable circumstances. To address this, an optimized charging scheme has been developed to minimize charging costs by considering the battery’s state of charge (SOC) curve and charging power. Simulations compare the cost and charging time between typical charging and the proposed optimized charging. The system calculates the cost and time for standard charging while offering an optimized option that is less expensive but requires more time. This approach helps users manage charging schedules and costs while reducing power consumption during peak periods.
