Faecal samples were collected at six weeks and two years of life for cohorts of infants born at term (the DORMICe cohort) and prematurely (the NeoM cohort). DNA was extracted using MPBio Fast DNA Spin Kits for Soil with the manufacurer's protocol (inclusive of bead beating homogenisation steps). The v3-v5 region of the DNA was amplified and prepared for sequencing on the Roche 454 platform. Demultiplexed reads and clinical data are presented here.
