Single cell RNA sequencing of human pluripotent stem cells directed toward the amnioblast lineage.

A newly developed condition to induce human amniotic and surface ectoderm lineages from pluripotent stem cells was analysed at the single cell resolution over 24-hour time points up to three days in aim to understand the molecular mechanisms regulating these lineage commitment. Human induced pluripotent stem cells were sparsely seeded and cultured in the ABCP condition to generate a heterogenous population of ectodermal progenitors, and were collected on day 0, 1, 2 and 3 to depict the fate transitions toward amnioblast-like cells.
