Dataset: Effects of Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) Larvae on Secondary Metabolites and Antioxidant Activity in Moringa oleifera Biomass

This dataset contains raw experimental measurements from a controlled study investigating the effects of black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae on secondary metabolite content and antioxidant activity in Moringa oleifera leaf biomass. The experiment included four treatment groups: fresh leaves (FMO), fresh leaves with larvae (FMOL), air-dried leaves (ADMO), and air-dried leaves with larvae (ADMOL), each with three biological replicates (n = 3). Measured variables include total phenolics (mg GAE g⁻¹), total flavonoids (mg QE g⁻¹), total tannins (mg TAE g⁻¹), DPPH radical scavenging activity (IC₅₀, µg/mL), and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP; mmol FeSO₄ equivalents g⁻¹). All raw data used for statistical analyses are provided in CSV format. The repository also includes a README file describing the experimental design, variable definitions, and measurement units, as well as an R script (analysis_script.R) used to perform one-way ANOVA and Tukey HSD post hoc tests. These materials are provided to ensure full transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of the results reported in the associated manuscript.
