Feasibility and Accuracy of Rapid On-Site Evaluation of Touch Imprint Cytology During Transbronchial Biopsy : Data sharing

This study is a single-center retrospective chart review of patients who underwent bronchoscopy combined with rapid on site evaluation at the Chiba University Hospital. The data show the patient's age, sex, lesion characteristics, the results of rapid on site evaluation, pathology results, final diagnosis, and gene mutation results. All analyses were performed in accordance with the amended Declaration of Helsinki. Written informed consent for bronchoscopy was obtained from each patient. Because data anonymization and privacy issues were protected and the approval for the opt-out consent method were given by the Chiba University Hospital (approval number 2584), additional informed consent for this research was waived due to the design of retrospective chart review of clinical history and diagnostic results.<br>
