资源简介:
The data was generated to reflect an inverse relationship between authority/control and mental health. Authority and control scores were simulated with a normal distribution centered around a mean of 50, representing moderate control, with a standard deviation of 15. Mental health scores, on the other hand, were derived by applying a negative coefficient to authority control, which means that as authority/control increases, mental health outcomes tend to decrease. Additionally, random noise was added to the mental health scores to simulate the natural variability seen in real-world data, where psychological outcomes are influenced by multiple factors, not just parental control. This inverse relationship suggests that higher authority/control in parenting could be correlated with lower mental health outcomes. While real-world causation is complex, the negative trend illustrated here reflects findings in psychological literature that associate high parental control with potential adverse effects on children’s mental health as they grow into adulthood.
