Flood pulse attributes of the upper Amazon River floodplains — data and code
收藏资源简介:
Data and code accompanying the manuscript "Flood pulse attributes of the upper Amazon River floodplains: spatiotemporal patterns and sensitivity to digital terrain model selection." The repository reproduces the study's flood-pulse attributes (extent, depth, duration, and connectivity) along a ~1,800 km reach of the upper Amazon (Solimões) River, derived from Sentinel-3A/Hydroweb radar altimetry and three vegetation-corrected digital terrain models (ANADEM, FABDEM, MERIT DEM) over the 2018–2023 hydrological period. It includes the full step-by-step methods (R, MATLAB, and ArcGIS), the analysis scripts, key vector layers and tables, and a strategic ubset of rasters (May 2021 peak-flood extent and depth, annual flood duration, and the derived difference/agreement maps used in Figure 4). Third-party datasets used as nputs are not redistributed; see DATA_SOURCES for their sources and citations.
