资源简介:

This dataset accompanies the study “Seasonal mudding as a dynamic sediment-state transition on a sandy beach: Insights from Lulanqingsha Beach in a highly turbid coastal system.” It contains topographic, sedimentological, hydrodynamic, and wave data collected or compiled for Lulanqingsha Beach on the Zhejiang coast of eastern China. Five UAV–LiDAR digital elevation models were acquired on 6 July, 24 September, 16 October, and 31 December 2024 and 13 April 2025. The GeoTIFF files have a spatial resolution of 0.5 × 0.5 m, share a common grid of 2,797 × 5,169 cells, and use WGS 1984 / UTM Zone 51N (EPSG:32651). The elevation-error workbook contains survey-specific comparisons between RTK measurements and UAV–LiDAR elevations. The profile workbook provides paired UAV–LiDAR and RTK elevations along nine cross-shore transects for the five survey dates. The sediment dataset contains geographic coordinates, beach-sector classifications, grain-size parameters, gravel, sand and mud contents, and detailed grain-size fractions for 276 surface-sediment samples. The hydrodynamic dataset comprises an approximately 96–98 h field record collected from 6 to 10 July 2024, including water depth, significant wave height and period, near-bed current components and velocity, turbidity, temperature, conductivity, salinity, and suspended sediment concentration. The archive also includes three-hourly regional significant wave height and wave-direction data derived from the Copernicus Marine Service for the period from 1 March 2024 to 30 April 2025. These data can support analyses of seasonal beach morphodynamics, sediment-state transitions, topographic uncertainty, sediment distribution, and hydrodynamic controls on mud accumulation and removal.
