Experimental data on the proportion of biota and plastic caught by two plastic clean-up mechanisms

This dataset contains a set of experimental data assessing the proportion of biota and plastic caught during the operation of two non-commercial, generic, and custom-made plastic clean-up mechanisms. Four parameters have been tested: flow velocity, plastic items, biota items, and number of plastic items. All tests were performed in an experimental current flume.
