Sweep net sampling of beetles in traditional and industrialized agricultural plots (September 2016; Zaachila, Oaxaca, Mexico).

This dataset contains information about beetles sampled in 16 agricultural plots in Zaachila, Oaxaca. Sweep nets were used during September 2016. It is organized by family, morph, abundance and the plot where they were collected. It also contains extra information like the trophic guild for each family and the literature supporting it. This is the base dataset for the publication "Linking coleopteran diversity with agricultural management of maize agroecosystems in Oaxaca, Mexico" to be published in Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems in 2021.
