Changes in red-light transmittance of leaves induced by high and low blue light

Changes in leaf red-light transmittance induced by 1-h long irradiation with blue light of 1 µmol m⁻² s⁻¹ or 100 µmol m⁻² s⁻¹ in leaves of Vaccinium myrtillus, Soldanella carpatica, and Homogyne alpina. Leaves were collected in the understorey (Jaworzynka Valley, 1080 m asl, 1125 m asl), clearing (Jaworzynka Valley, 1080 m asl, 1125 m asl), subalpine (Hala Gasienicowa, 1615 m asl), and peak alpine (Liliowe Pass, 1970 m asl) sites.
