Location and mapping of the human rostromedial tegmental nucleus and associated midbrain inhibitory nuclei regulating dopamine neurons.
收藏资源简介:
This upload contains multiple data types to identify rostromedial tegmental nucleus (RMTg) and other related inhibitory nuclei in human postmortem brainstem. This work is related to the manuscript titled ‘Location and mapping of the human rostromedial tegmental nucleus and associated midbrain inhibitory nuclei regulating dopamine neurons’. Demographic information about the control cases processed and analysed is uploaded as ‘Demographic Table’. Identification of novel inhibitory neuronal clusters was performed based on distinct cell feature quantification, and these raw data are uploaded in ‘Inhibitory Neuron Data’. Further chemoarchitectonic maps were created in immunohistochemically (IHC) stained thin human post-mortem brainstem sections. Anatomically annotated images per individual case can be found in ‘Chemoarchitecture maps’. These anatomical maps were further validated in serial CV-stained sections and these annotated images are found in ‘Cytoarchitectonic maps’. For cell feature and neuronal population of IHC stained sections, micrographs of relevant regions of interest are found in ‘GABA and CV-counterstained image analysis’. Similar neuronal feature analysis was performed on CV-stained serial sections and these images are found in ‘CV analysis images’. Finally, a list of these newly created datasets, used software and chemicals are found in ‘Key Resource Table’.
